Open House

Saturday, June 25 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Herr Family has long planned to provide our families with complete funeral and cemetery services at one location. Our new facility, which will provide convenience and a staff of experienced funeral directors, is now complete. An open house will be held Saturday, June 25 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Since 1924, Sunset Hill has served the memorialization needs of the community with extraordinary concern and dignity. This tradition of service is ever-evolving, with beautification and improvement plans in full progress.

Sunset Hill is non-sectarian and offers special benefits for members of fire and police departments, unions, and veterans. Burial areas with traditional monuments are available, as well as garden areas with flush markers. Another area is exclusively for the burial of cremated remains, which also contains a scattering garden.

Overlooking the entire property, our magnificent mausoleum has been an area landmark since 1929. The beauty of our park has recently been enhanced with the addition of Serenity Lake, a peaceful haven for waterfowl and rare fish. In the future, certain lots on the lake shore will be designated for individual family estate mausoleums.
